In 1883, a solitary man arrives in Grimstone carrying a bone-a femur-at his side. Sedding vengeance for reasons that only later become clear, he tracks down several individuals and bludgeons each of them to death with the bone. But his almost-ritualistic pursuit of revenge is soon interrupted when he finds himself both falling for a woman and hunted by a vicious hired gun. Bone is a spare, ruggedly-poetic western.
